For example, she makes individual plans to help students succeed.
Ms. Jackie always keeps parents informed and students engaged. Parents feel welcome through her open-door policy and genuine eagerness to collaborate while she creates a safe, empowering, and comfortable environment for her students. She truly cares about her students and their success.

Kari Smith is a true jack-of-all-trades when it comes to supporting student growth. Ms. Kari willingly takes on any role needed, whether helping a student better understand a concept, leading a class, working with small groups, supporting classroom management, filling in as a substitute, or supervising students at the end of the day. She brings patience, positivity, and a strong work ethic to her role, creating a supportive environment where all learners feel valued and encouraged.
Kari has a natural ability to build meaningful relationships with students, helping them gain confidence both academically and socially. She is dependable and flexible, always willing to step in wherever needed, and collaborates effectively with teachers to ensure student success. Kari is the kind of paraprofessional every teacher hopes to have in their classroom, and her contributions are vital. Her calm demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine care for others make her an invaluable part of the school community.
In addition to her work during the school day, Kari shows exceptional dedication to the WASP (Wall After School Program).
