Mrs. Ruland serves on multiple teams at the elementary and middle school levels. Her vast knowledge and experience make her an outstanding resource in core content areas for the entire staff. She has served in the district for many years often with the greater good of the district in mind. When there have been staffing needs, she has selflessly stepped up to fill the position--even when it meant securing an additional degree. She is kind and compassionate with students and co-workers while never compromising learning. She is an incredible, well-rounded, passionate educator that we can take pride in celebrating as the Teacher of the Year.
Laurie Hindman
Support Staff of the Year
2024-2025
Laurie has been a paraprofessional for 11 years, starting with at Big White country school. She is always willing to jump in where needed to help anyone. Her love and compassion for children show when she works one on one with them or in a group. She is stern when needed, and extremely patient. Laurie exhibits wonderful creativity and is continuously looking for fun and engaging activities to support classroom curriculums. We have been very fortunate to have her as part of the Wall School support staff. We will miss Laurie as she is retiring this year. We wish her all the best!
